The aim of this course is to teach candidates how to use Solid works software to build 3D models of parts. It concentrates on the fundamental skills and concepts required to successfully use Solid works. Areas of study will include: Sketching: producing solid models Sketched features: extrusion, rotation, sweeping and lofting Applied features: fillets and chamfers Patterning: circular and mirror patterning Dimensioning: smart dimensions Creating assemblies
