A Level History

UPDATED 20160922 11:16:46

The study of history offers a unique perspective on the world by studying its (relatively) recent past. Historical study encompasses a range of subject areas, offering political, social and economic insight, awareness and focus on student involvement as well as independent study. By the end of your course you will have learned how to communicate complex ideas effectively, how to evaluate and analyse information and how to weigh up information. These skills are recognised and valued by employers, universities and colleges. History combines well with maths and science to create an attractive portfolio of qualifications, or with English, Languages and other Humanities courses.
