In Year 12 students complete a whole A level in Mathematics. This consists of units C1 to C4, S1 and M1. The course is taught in two timetable blocks. In Year 13 students can complete an AS or A level in Further Mathematics. The units taught are in Pure Mathematics (FP1 and FP2), Mechanics (M1 and M2), Discrete Mathematics (D1) and Statistics (S2). If a student just wants to do AS Further Mathematics they take FP1 and two other modules.
