BTEC National Extended Certificate in Performing Arts (Drama)

The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Performing Arts (Drama) provides students who have a passion for Drama and performance the opportunity to explore the subject in a practical nature. Throughout the course students will explore, style, genre, theatre practitioners and text through practical workshops and performance. Students will develop their knowledge and understanding of the language of Drama, as well as improving their performance, directorial, critical and analytical skills. Students will also be given the opportunity to visit the theatre and see professional theatre in action.
