Students explore a broad range of contemporary human and physical themes including river and coastal environments, managing urban change, earth and climatic hazards. A key area for study is the interaction between people and the environment and the issue of sustainability. Students will deepen their subject knowledge through the study of specific case studies and will develop their skills of enquiry through a range of fieldwork activities.
