This one day course is designed to provide information and practice in carrying out risk assessments within a working environment. It is for all staff who have an interest in, or a responsibility for Health and Safety. It is a legal requirement that risk assessments are carried out to protect people as far as ‘reasonably practicable’ within their working environment. Risk assessment are a ‘tool’ to be used to help focus on the risks that really matter and to ensure that mitigating measures are adopted to protect individuals within the workplace. This course is designed to give the learner a better understanding and appreciation of completing a Risk Assessment and the roles and responsibilities of the employer & employee.
