The IT Application Specialist Apprenticeship programme is designed for new entrants in roles where they are working with IT Systems and Software in a non-technical capacity. The qualification is aimed at job roles including: Personal Assistant, Website Designer, User Support, Helpdesk and Trainer or Teaching Assistant. The qualification is flexible and will be tailored to your needs by achieving the mandatory units. You can then select optional units that best suit what you do within your current job role. You will also study Functional Skills in Maths, English, ICT, Employment Rights & Responsibilities, and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. On successful completion you can progress with your IT career or progress onto qualifications in Business Admin, Team Leading or Management as well as higher level IT qualifications.
