Customer service is what makes or breaks a company and people with good customer service skills are what every employer wants. Customer service apprentices will usually work at the forefront of their employer's business, making sure that customers are dealt with in a clear, positive and pleasant way. In a customer service role, you might be responsible for serving customers and cash handling, offering advice, answering questions or dealing with complaints. Level 2 learners will cover a range of units including: dealing with customers face-to-face, answering the telephone following company procedures, and delivering customer service in the workplace following rules and procedures. You will also study Employment Rights and Responsibilities, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills as well as Functional Skills at Level 1 or 2. On successful completion you could progress onto Business Admin, Team Leading, Management or Advice and Guidance qualifications.
