Foundation Learning Entry Level 1 to Entry Level 3

When you join the course we will agree the best level for you, and how long you are likely to benefit from being on the course. This course is being offered at 3 levels to suit a wide range of needs. Students will be working towards Functional Skills / Personal Progress in Maths, English and ICT and other vocational units for a Certificate in Vocational Studies at E3 or a Certificate in Skills for Independence and Work at E2 and a Certificate in Personal and Social Development. The course is planned so that learning is made easier and goals will become achievable by breaking down the work into small units. Students will gain knowledge that will enable them to progress towards: further education, training, employment and/or independent living. Who is it for? Entry requirements

You may qualify for some assistance but some students will be required to contribute towards the cost of the course trips, some of which are compulsory, to pay for some materials eg paper, files and any necessary clothing. These costs will be kept to a minimum and should not be more than £150 spread over the year including £25.00 for the additional units.
