Learners will complete both a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Public Services (Uniformed) and a Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Applied Law. The combined qualification provides the knowledge, understanding and skills for learners wishing to enter a career in Public Service law enforcement or legal representation. Progression onto higher education to specialise in Law would be seen as a natural advancement for students on successful completion. The course will give learners a breadth of experience to equip them for the world of work. Understanding Discipline in the Uniformed Services (10) 5. Custodial Care Services (10) 6. Security Procedures in the Public Services (10) 7. Fitness Testing & Training for Uniformed Services (10) 8. Responding to Emergency Service Incidents (10) 9. Communication & Technology in the Uniformed Public Services (10) Visits and visiting speakers are also an integral part of the course.
