The HND in Computing and Systems Development is a well-respected qualification and the equivalent to starting university-level study. The programme has a strong sector related emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding. We often have key speakers from industry, master classes and visits to local employers. The programme provides a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required in the computing sector, while providing opportunities for learners to gain a national recognised qualification to enter employment in computing and systems. It can stand you in good stead to go on to complete a top-up degree at university or go straight into employment. We have links with local universities who are invited to give progression talks to students. Employers expect graduates to be able to demonstrate a range of employability skills and attributes which includes, team-working, communication, leadership, critical thinking, and problem solving, this course will help equip you with these skills
