The CE:ET is an innovative educational partnership between BBEC, the University of Bradford and our Director Companies, including Associated Waste Management, British Gas, Cummins Turbo Technologies, NG Bailey and Yorkshire Water. As a students at the CE:ET you will develop the knowledge, skills and personal qualities to advance your prospects of higher education, vocational training and employment across the growing STEM and ‘Green’ sectors - employing over 6 million people across the UK. You will follow our innovative STEM and vocational-based curriculum and work towards three valuable qualifications: · An OCR Extended Project Qualification (EPQ); · A gold CREST Award from the British Science Association. The CE:ET curriculum will also support and enrich your other STEM A-level subjects, firstly, through our programme of practical work delivered in our £2million STEM laboratory at the University of Bradford and, secondly, through strong ‘real-work’ elements and guaranteed paid work placements with our Director companies. Personally you should have an enjoyment of learning and an aspiration to develop a highly paid STEM career, together with the personal qualities to work with professionals from across the educational and business sectors.
