Extended Project

The Extended Project is a major piece of individual project work in which a topic or a question is explored that is of particular interest to the student. It extends knowledge and skills and challenges students by broadening their understanding of their chosen area of study. The key features of the Level 3 Extended Project enable students to develop and improve their independent study skills, decision making and problem solving skills. The project also allows students to extend their planning, research, critical thinking, analysis, evaluation and presentation skills. Finally the qualification enables students to use their learning experience to support their personal aspirations for Higher Education and career Development.
