UPDATED 20151117 14:46:20

The course is suitable for all ages (minimum age 19). If you are unsure about undertaking new exercise, please contact your G.P. This course will concentrate on the health benefits to be gained by completing the Yang style short form. However we also develop an understanding of the principles of Tai Chi as a form of self defence. In particular we concentrate on increasing body awareness of effective breathing and moving in a slow, fluid and relaxed manner. Control of thoughts and calming the mind through the use of breathing and meditation will be another key component of the course. We seek to improve posture, balance, co - ordination and fitness, not just in terms of stamina but also in terms of flexibility.
