Philosophy and Ethics is an AS/A2 course that helps students develop their interest in, and enthusiasm for, a rigorous study of religion and its relation to the wider world. This four unit specification encourages students to reflect on and develop their own values, opinions and attitudes in the light of their learning.
Name: AS Level in Philosophy & Ethics Qualification title: AS Level in Philosophy & Ethics Qualification type: GCE A/AS Level or equivalent Assessment Units 3 and 4 Philosophy of religion and ethics. Each unit is 25% of A-Level. Each unit is a 1 hour 15 minute written examination and is worth 90 marks. Students study any two units from a choice of eleven available.
