You will learn mathematical skills and knowledge through developing your approach to problem solving by practising the use of valid arguments and logic. You will gain confidence by using these skills, together with the conventions of mathematical communication, to find and explain order and patterns, to model real life situations and to construct sound solutions. You will be studying three branches of Mathematics at A-Level: Pure Mathematics, Mechanics and Statistics. Focus will be on mathematical reasoning, problem solving and mathematical modelling.
