The course aims to encourage students to look at deign issues in society through a variety of different learning media. The course will provide opportunity for students to develop their knowledge of design issues, materials and processes through 2 coursework units and two written examinations. Their design skills will be developed through 2 design studies and also their making and evaluation skills, also through these design projects.
