This qualification will develop your knowledge and skills relating to the clinical health care workforce and also the skills required to work in a range of clinical environments and carry out assessments or examinations. The Clinical Healthcare support study programme will consist of 5 key elements which you will need to complete: - Main qualification - as above - Individual and group tutorial sessions - Industry related work placement - Development of English and mathematics. Course content is made up of 3 days in college and 2 days (around 14 hours per week) out in a variety of placements that reflect the changing Healthcare profession. We offer numerous work experience placements to students who undertake this course. These placements are tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Some examples of current placements are: Mental Health Hospital - West Park Phlebotomy Assistant - Darlington Memorial Hospital Occupational Therapy - Community Care placements Rehabilitation - drug and alcohol services in Darlington Residential Care - Care homes PTS - Patient Transport Services
