AA-level English Language is an interesting and engaging course which gives you the opportunity to study the wider use of the English language in contemporary society. You will study English in its various contexts and forms using a range of linguistic methods and concepts to underpin your ideas and develop your understanding how and why language is such a powerful tool. The course allows you to develop the range of skills acquired at GCSE English and acquire a range of new ones such as discursive essay writing skills, data analysis, critical reading and the ability to develop and sustain clear arguments.
