Psychology AS/A level

UPDATED 20151116 11:10:27

Psychology is the study of people: how they act, react and interact. Psychology is concerned with all aspects of behaviour and the thoughts, feelings and motivations underlying this behaviour. In a sense you are already a psychologist. We all are. We are all interested in what makes us and other people tick and how this understanding can help us to solve major problems in society e.g. relating to divorce, crime or addiction. But this course of study will help you to go from being an “amateur psychologist” to someone who understands the science behind behaviour. It could even lead eventually to a career as a professional psychologist if that is what interests you.
