Decision Mathematics: In this unit you will learn about efficient methods for solving network and routing problems. Further Pure 1: You will get a taste for complex numbers and matrix algebra. Proof features via work on summation of series. You will discover parametric graphs and their properties Mechanics 1: What forces are acting on moving and stationary objects? How do you calculate these? All these questions and more will be answered! The course has 5 lessons taught time per week and 2 lessons supported self study time. The course can be taken alongside AS Mathematics but not as a stand alone qualification. This course is no more difficult that AS Mathematics, it just gives students an opportunity to experience a breadth of mathematical concepts.
