This is a course for those who already have some knowledge of British Sign Language. It will develop skills and understanding of the differences between English and BSL and will give an insight into deaf culture. To enable students to acquire a basic ability to communicate with deaf people using sign language. Also to provide students with information about deaf people the deaf community and deaf culture.
