A practical course which covers aspects of Biology, Chemistry and Physics and leaves students in an excellent position to further study Science-related fields at university. The course consists of units which cover all three sciences: •Explore how cells work together to function as tissues & organs •Practice chemical techniques and assess their accuracy and reliability •Understand energy transfers and how to investigate them •Gain an insight into how scientific information is communicated •Research good lab design and how laboratories are managed •Relate the structure of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive and immune systems to their function •Gain a more in-depth understanding of energy transfers and how this can be used in fuels cells •Further practice your skills in chemical analysis.
