Media Studies A Level

UPDATED 20151116 09:28:06

The media is all around us and dominates our lives from the moment we wake up until we go to sleep at night whether it is the radio, television, internet, video games or iPods. Therefore it makes sense to study how the major media organisations manipulate us into making choices that affect our entire lives. We all use the media and it could be argued that our culture is media saturated. We must therefore note the commanding presence and power that the media have in our lives. This is a fact of modern life and provides the major rationale for A Level Media Studies.
