This qualification is designed to provide benefit to you through the development of the skills and knowledge required to enable you to understand participants and their needs, develop your knowledge of coaching football and requires you to demonstrate practical coaching skills. The qualification is composed of four mandatory units delivered through the medium of football. Students will also gain the FA Level 1 Award in Coaching Football as part of the course. These 2 qualifications will enable students to coach and lead football sessions in the wider community. It is also recognised by and has the support of a range of providers including FE colleges.
