Recognise health and safety requirements for working with computers and follow safety procedures. Produce a simple word processed document and use simple editing and formatting. Check the accuracy of text identify and correct errors. Save and print documents. Use a web browser to navigate the Internet and enter website addresses. Use a search engine to find information related to the job seeking process. Describe ways to avoid security risks when using the Internet and sharing information. Create and send new email messages with file attachments. Open a file attachment safely. Describe ways to manage emails ie deleting messages creating folders and moving messages into them. Describe situations where databases and spreadsheets might be used. Open an existing database or spreadsheet and accurately enter information. Perform a simple function in a database or spreadsheet eg add a record or use autosum About the Course: This course is aimed at beginners. No previous experience is required.
