The aim of this course is to get more out of your DSLR Camera and learn how to use it to its full potential. The main content of the course: To handle a camera correctly in both Landscape and Portrait orientations and to identify potential dangers when taking images. How the DSLR camera captures and processes an image and explains the various formats used by the DSLR. How to change lenses safely types of lenses and uses components of the lens. Explain Sharpening and how to apply camera settings with an explanation of terminology. To Meter a scene and to understand the exposure controls on the DSLR camera understand the use of White Balance and use of Depth of Field and how to control it. The course will also cover; Camera care Sensor cleaning Understand focussing systems how to improve your composition a typical Menu structure Flash Techniques the use of basic filters and examples of simple lighting techniques Jargon Busting and 'Panning' technique
