This course will guide you through some of the basic stages of creative writing through a variety of fun activities. Learning Objectives Develop settings: describe places you know and create imaginary spaces involving all your senses.Create characters: write about people you know and invent imaginary characters and plotlines.Plot a story: use techniques to keep the reader turning the pages.Produce a final (short) piece of individual work which draws on skills learned during the course. About the CourseIt is suitable for both beginners and more experienced writers who feel they would benefit from some further guidance.Each week you will be working on activities and may want to finish them at home. You will be encouraged to bring them along to share in the following session.
