Aims of the Course To introduce learners to basic methods of pencil drawing and help them to feel confident in using materials. The overall aim is to help you discover your abilities in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere through a mixture of practice discussion and demonstration.Learning Goals (by the end of the course you will be able to)Feel confident in knowing how to begin to sketch.Have a basic understanding of perspective and how to portray a 3 dimensional image on a 2 dimensional surface.Be able to produce a basic line drawing ready for shading.Have a knowledge of tone and know how to apply continuous shading to make objects appear solid.For the first session you will need to buy/bring: Bring whatever drawing & painting materials you may already have purchased.This Course could lead to: Continuation of other Art related courses for pleasure.
