The course is ideally suited to students who have taken art and design at GCSE. You will be following a broad based course where you should produce practical and critical/contextual work associated with two or more of the following endorsements: Fine Art Graphic Communication Textiles Design Three Dimensional Design Photography Students who will succeed with the course will need to be dedicated and passionate about the visual arts. You will be expected to develop ideas explore creative and imaginative approaches to a given topic as well as developing your practical skills. You will need to explore traditional and new media and technologies and create links with your fine art and that of artists, designers and craftspeople.
