The Introductory Certificate in Marketing is aimed at those who are interested in finding out more about marketing, whether they are in a job that involves marketing or not. It provides information about what marketing is and aims to develop knowledge and skills for people who are working to support others in basic marketing tasks. The CIM Introductory Certificate In Marketing covers two modules: What is Marketing? Understanding Customer Relationships. The aim of these two modules is to provide you with a basic introduction to the principles and practices of marketing. It will form the basis for future study and also give you sufficient insight into the world of marketing should you wish to gain employment or further your employment in this field. The two units are assessed independently. Unit 1 is assessed by an online test and Unit 2 is assessed through a written project.
