The ILM Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading aims to give practising or potential team leaders the foundation for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing a wide range of team leading skills and assisting participants in gaining the comprehensive knowledge required by a team leader. This qualification broadens the skills and knowledge in a flexible and practical way. This is an 8 week course aiming to develop team leading skills, developing performance, leading the team, motivation and communication skills, dealing with change and business improvement techniques . You are required to achieve a total of 13 credits for the level 2 certificate. These credits are achieved through a selection of units such as: Developing yourself as a team leader Planning and monitoring Leading your work team Dealing with Change Developing the team Motivating the work team to perform Business Improvement Techniques Induction and tutorial to support learning Practical skills in team leading Effective and thought provoking sessions Practical assessment to achieve the qualification Enhance your CV Desirable skills valued by employers I developed a better understanding of my own strengths and areas for improvement as a leader. The course was inspirational, professional and brilliant. The course exceeded my expectations. The subjects covered were applicable to my working practice as a team leader and my line manager has seen an improvement in my team leading skills.
