Students are able to study significant events, individuals and issues from the 15th, 16th and 20th centuries Year 1 Units 1&2 for the AS level course are assessed by examination (unit 1 source-based and unit 2 essay questions) Year 2 Unit 3 for A2 is completed as a historical investigation and unit 4 is a written examination, two hours duration
