his is a two year course. students follow the OCR specification which is challenging but very interesting. If you have an interest in the past and have an enquiring mind, history is the subject for you. Students are able to study significant events, individuals and issues from the 15th, 16th and 20th centuries Year 1 Units 1&2 for the AS level course are assessed by examination (unit 1 source-based and unit 2 essay questions) Year 2 Unit 3 for A2 is completed as a historical investigation and unit 4 is a written examination, two hours duration
