This Scrapbooking Mini Albums and Books course in Sittingbourne will introduce students to the basic techniques of scrapbooking - a popular craft that combines personal images with written notes and ephemera. The tutor will demonstrate various collage and image transfer techniques using mixed media. Students are then encouraged to use these ideas and techniques to create their own Christmas Memories project, using greetings cards, journals or 3-Dimensional objects such as canvas mounts or picture frames. By the end of the course you should be able to: - Use skills and techniques relevant to all the making processes at the appropriate level, - Successfully review and evaluate your own work at the appropriate level. - Be aware of and work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines You will cover all you need to know on the course there is no additional work outside course hours. Students wishing to learn the basics of scrapbooking to create a mixed media personal project linked to Christmas past or present.

Entry requirements

Students can also bring personal items such as photographs or photocopies, scraps of decorative paper and fabrics, ribbons, buttons, pressed flowers etc. and should bring their own frames or boxes if they wish to create a 3D piece.
