DRAFT ESOL Plus Skills Conditionality

The 15 week course is for students in the early stages of learning English. Students will build language skills which will increase their employment prospects and enable them to search and apply for jobs in the UK. You will learn basic practical English for everyday life and for working in the UK and you will make progress with the basic grammar of English. Speaking, listening, reading and writing are all included, with special emphasis on speaking and listening. ESOL + courses are available for students who are in receipt of JSA and have been referred by the Job Centre.
