Please Note this course is taught using Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office 2013. The aim of this course is to help you refresh and improve skills in Microsoft Word. It will focus on specific features such as tables, images, labels and mail merge as well as revisit some formatting and file management. By the end of the course you should be able to, -Format a document with bold, italics, underline, justification , -Create a table with a minimum of 3 rows and 3 columns, -Enter/Edit text within a table and format cells with shading and different line styles, -Create a Folder, save a file and understand the purpose of a good filing system, -Insert an image and enhance it. This course is for students who have attended a beginner level computer course or are or who are self-taught computer users. You will know your way around the keyboard, be able to use a mouse confidently and have some experience of using Microsoft Windows.
