Yoga for All

Students at all levels are welcome to join this course where beginners will learn basic postures and those with some experience will develop their practice of basic yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques. Your tutor will explain the benefits and how you can apply them to your daily life. You will be recommended to practice regularly at home. For people of all ages, beginners and those with some experience of Yoga. Pregnant students should not attend classes until they are at least 16 weeks pregnant. We advise anyone with a pre-existing medical condition to seek advice from their GP before exercising.

Entry requirements

You will need supportive, comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement. Denim jeans, formal trousers, skirts or dress are not suitable for this activity. You should wear shoes with a soft sole. Sandals, boots or any footwear with a high heel are not recommended. You may be advised not to take part if you are not dressed appropriately. Students need to bring a mat to work on and may wish to bring a towel. Please bring water and avoid eating one and a half hours prior to exercising.
