The day will be spent exploring printing, dyeing and Batik processes using wax. Students may choose whether they want to try one or all of the techniques. Students will be able to: 1) Apply the wax to their desired fabric using the correct techniques. Design and , 2) Be able to understand and impliment Health and safety with regard to this craft. 3) Students will be able to critique their work and evaluate. 4) Demonstrate techniques of dying fabrics to create their own individual design project. Beginners and those with some experience. It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
