Creative Collaging - Paper, Paint and Fabric

Explore a range of different mixed media and collage techniques. pastel, pen, etc. combined with fabric. Reference will be made throughout the course to contemporary and historical artists who have used mixed media and collage techniques. By the end of this course you should be able to: Select and use a range of water-based painting media in combination with dry drawing media. Experiment with combinations of media and collage techniques. Explore formal elements (line, tone, colour, texture, etc.) to develop visual ideas. Produce a series of compositions that use mixed media and collage techniques. Work to health and safety guidelines. Beginners and Improvers. It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
