This short feltmaking course at Tunbridge Wells will show you how to make a fine Merino wool felt scarf using a technique known as cobweb felting. By layering up tiny amounts of wool fleece, a very delicate sheer felt can be created, rather like a very fine lace. You will use these techniques to create patterns using fine strands of coloured fleece, rather like painting. This is yours to take away, wear and amaze your friends with. Everyone, from beginners to those with some experience, who are interested in learning and developing feltmaking techniques and creating an individual one-off felt piece.
