A Day of Pastels

This course is a good introduction into the skills and techniques of Pastels. Students will learn about various artists and influences. Please be aware that this course has had a change in venue and will now be held in Broadstairs Library. Absolute beginners or those with a little experience.

Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and ring bound and a variety of pencils.You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. Some of our centres have their own 'shops' where you are able to buy things at competitive prices.If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.
