Sewing - Clothesmaking

In this Clothesmaking class, you will use contemporary methods for fashionable and successful dressmaking and tailoring. You will work on your own project, at your own pace. Help and advice will be at hand to guide you. By the end of the course you should be able to:- - use a sewing machine, - demonstrate and understand relevant techniques, - use practical sewing skills for making seams and darts, - put in a zip, - sew on a waistband, - sew hand and machine hems, - produce a range of sewing samples for future reference Anyone who wishes to learn or improve existing dressmaking skills.
