Using oil and/or acrylic paints, mixed media and a range of drawing media, you will build on previous knowledge and experience. Working from a variety of subject matter, you will be taught techniques and the underpinning formal elements (composition, perspective, scale, colour, etc) according to you needs. References will be made to relevant historical and contemporary artists, and there will be continuous individual and group appraisal. Experienced painters who wish to advance their individual work in the group situation and welcome group and individual critique. The course promotes self directed learning and is not suitable for those new to art.
