Pilates is a form of body conditioning that builds core strength that concentrates on building strength from the core of the body. It can help improve posture, muscular strength, mobility and breathing technique. A variety of excercises are preformed, flowwing smoothly form one to the other whilst focusing on technique and control, unlike many other body conditioning techniques. Pilates focuses on working with a mild engagment of the core muscles in order to be effective. For adults who have attended Pilates classes/courses previously and wish to build on the what they have previously learnt.
