Jewellery - Make a Bangle

UPDATED 20151112 02:15:32

This one day Jewellery course is an opportunity for you to be introduced to the very basics of silver jewellery making using silversmithing techniques to make a simple bracelet designed by youself. Those with an understanding of the basic techniques having completed jewellery courses will be encouraged to make a more complex piece in consultation with the tutor. The course will teach you how to anneal, shape and decorate the silver, skills you can develop on further jewellery making courses. The silver for the Bangle is included in the cost of the course. This Jewellery course is for students interested in Jewellery Design and construction, for complete beginners or students with some experience. It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak with the Progamme Manager.
