Studying Mathematics A level is required and further mathematics is designed to work alongside the study of A level Mathematics. The applied modules are interchangeable with the regular Mathematics A Level. Students have the option of a full A level in further mathematics, which comprises 6 modules (two in further pure mathematics and 4 additional applied options) or the option to complete an AS in one or two years, this comprises 3 modules (one in further pure mathematics and 2 additional applied options).
