Is this the right course for me? If you are new to project management whether at work or in a community this one day workshop will show you how to plan, prepare and follow projects through to completion. What will I learn? Project Management is the discipline of planning, organising, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of project goals and objectives. It includes: Setting project goals and objectives Project teams Project planning Scheduling and timescales Budgeting and other resources Managing project risks, executing and implementing projects Project completion, review and feedback. How will I learn? You will learn through discussions, practical tasks, question/answer sessions and case studies. You will have resources to take away and practice after the course. Will I gain a qualification? You will not gain a formal qualification; however you may receive a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor. What can I do next? Community Learning MK has a variety of business related courses available, such as Customer Service, Bookkeeping, Sage Computerised Accounts, Effective presentations, Mindfulness for clear thinking, plus a full range of computer classes.
