Physics A Level

The Physics course is designed to give students a real understanding of how Physics can relate to real world experiences. The course offers a great foundation for future study and focusses on the key areas associated with this. You can also expect a good balance between theory and the supporting mathematics. There will also be lots of opportunities to develop Key Skills as well as practical technique.

Name: Physics A Level Qualification title: Physics A Level Qualification type: GCE A/AS Level or equivalent Assessment AS level: Two 90 minute written examinations at the end of year 1. A Level: Three 120 minute written examinations at the end of year 2. At A level there is also a practical endorsement which assesses your practical skills in the 12 activities carried out throughout the 2 year course.
