English Literature is a stimulating and well established subject that generates great enthusiam among learners, and has a history of success You will study a range of literary texts of all types – poetry, plays and novels – from a mix of historical periods and genres to develop your skills as a reader and writer. Examples of study texts include ‘Jane Eyre' by Charlotte Bronte, 'The Great Gatsby' by F. Scott Fitzgerald and 'Measure for Measure' by Willliam Shakespeare. There are also significant opportunities to develop your own creative writing skills.
