History (A Level)

If you decide to continue with your studies in History the syllabus offered at AS and A2 provides a challenging course. It focuses upon aspects of American and British History. These have had a major impact on the world in which we live today. The coursework component of the Historical Investigation (Personal Study) will involve an in depth study of an aspect of British History in the form of an extended essay of between 3,000 and 3,500 words in length.
